- Punctual Occlusion: a simple in-office procedure to block tear ducts
You can also reduce dryness and irritation by adhering to the following measures.
All Dry Eye Patients should:
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Minimize the use of ceiling fans
- Direct car and home air conditioners and heating vents away from your face
- Use a humidifier to reduce dryness from the air
- Consider having your air ducts cleaned
- Replace air filters with a dust mite barrier
- Consider aquariums or plant life in your work or home environment
